Joining the club?

Joining the club is completely free but does require some effort on your part. You must have a sense of humour and have a Vespa (if you are Lambretta only then why not join the Amsterdam Lambretta Club). If you've been active for a while (ie at least 6 months) then you can apply to be a full member. We don't have any particular joining procedure but if most people in the club know & like you & agree then you're "an official member" - lucky you..... We'll add a silly picture on the net & your scoots on the members page and you can then impress your friends with your membership (er yes) etc etc.

You may ask why we don't just make everyone who emails us a member straight away like some of the official paying clubs - well as we are free we don't want or need your money, we are too lazy to update the site all the time & thirdly hundreds of people ask to become members and then never turn up to anything - and there's no point having the biggest club in Holland just for the sake of it.

So if you are new and interested then just turn up at one of our events. We're normally pretty friendly (don't let the "keyboard warriors" on the forum put you off!) so feel free to drop by the brewery or come to a ride out - lots of people who are not members hang out once in a while with us & they seem to like it.

Where to find us

You don't have to be a member to come to a ride out. Every Sunday you'll find at least 15 of us at the IJ-Brouwerij for a pint or two from 6pm to 8pm. Next to the windmill in Amsterdam Oost.
